You’ll find me in the arctic sea,
though it’s cold as it can be.
Layers of blubber keep me hot.
I’m glad I’m fat, believe it or not.

I swim under water, and breathe air too
I can swim backwards. Can you?
There’s a bump on my head. No, I didn’t get hit.
I use it when there’s ice, to break through it.

I may have a beluga baby.
Bigger than ten of you maybe.
I’m sixteen feet long, from head to tail.
I’m no goldfish. I’m a whale.

I’m a mammal, just like you.

The word beluga in Russian means white.
At hide and seek, I’m good alright.

Not many whales can sing like a bird.
I’m the singinest whale you’ve ever heard.
I blow air and water through my spout.
I’m ready to blow, so look out!
